In 1976, Barbara Corell, became the Director of Millie Modeling School & Agency. In 1984 George & Barbara Corell purchased the business from its founder, Millie Lewis. Together, they've built the company into South Carolina's largest Model/Talent Agency while at the same time gaining international recognition for professional capabilities of those they've represented. They've launched the careers of countless women & men who have gone on to work in local, regional, national & international markets. Millie Lewis graduates have been placed with world renown modeling agencies including:Ford/Elite/ Next/ Wilhelmina/Folio-Japan & Eye for I - Milan.
While careers in Modeling or Acting are significant and exciting, the Corells have focused their primary efforts on creating programs aimed at building strong self-esteem in children, teens and adults. The Millie Lewis Modeling School has literally seen thousands of individuals pass through their doors seeking various aspects of personal development. Angela Amezcua, Office Manager
Angela recently moved to the Greenville area from Maryland. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Virginia University & obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing.
Aside from working at the agency, Angela also does promotional, print & runway modeling for Millie Lewis. She is interested in fashion, beauty, jewelry and loves styling new outfits. She is also passionate about her family & close friends. Her five-year-old niece is her biggest fan!
Maegan Garner, Kids' Club Instructor & Pageant Prep
Maegan began her experience at Millie Lewis as a student, and has since modeled in various facets for Millie. She says that what she learned here at Millie Lewis has helped her throughout all of her endeavors and helped shape her into the woman she is today. Maegan is a graduate of Easley High School, previously attended College of Charleston and has since transferred to Greenville Technical College, where she is currently pursuing a Registered Nursing Degree.
Kayla is currently attending North Greenville University while pursuing a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with Biology and Education. Kayla has been affiliated with Millie Lewis for almost six years. She began as a student after her parents gave her a gift certificate for the Teen class as a Christmas gift. After she completed this course, she enjoyed it so much that she went on to complete the Advanced and Pro classes. Kayla says that was the best Christmas gift she has ever received because Millie Lewis has been a tool in molding and shaping her into the woman she is today.
Shelly Massey, Pro Kids/Advanced Instructor
Shelly has lived in the Greenville area all her life. She has been with Millie Lewis for 20+ years. As a young adult, she went through all the classes that Millie Lewis offers and
did modeling in the Greenville area. Once she completed the courses she was asked to train and teach the Kids' Club Classes...since then, she has also taught the Teen Program and is now teaching the Pro Kids and Advanced Modeling classes. She loves what Millie Lewis has done for her and wants to continue to teach young girls/adults the importance of loving yourself from the inside / out.
Shelly attends Brookwood Community Church and serves actively in the children's ministry, teaching 5th & 6th grade girls for more than ten years. Having no children of her own...she feels like God has given her the talent/gift to work with children and touch their lives in any positive way she can.
Kelly Wolff, Advanced/Teen/Adult Instructor, Pageant Prep
Kelly began at Millie as a student right out of high school at seventeen-years-old and completed all of our courses while in college. The basic personal development course was a life-changing experience for her and taught her to set high goals and never give up! After Kelly had gone through our courses and gained the confidence she needed, she went on to participate in the “Miss Clemson University” pageant….and won!
Kelly is a graduate from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management, with an emphasis area in Community Leisure Services. After College, Kelly became involved in the Fashion and Beauty Industry along with the Health and Fitness Industry. She worked fluently for Millie Lewis touring the Southeast doing the "HORIZON" Runway Shows for Belk Store Services for many years to raise thousands for many Charitable Organizations!
“Thanks to Millie Lewis, I worked both locally and regionally in TV, photography and runway modeling.” When Millie Lewis decided to open a salon, Kelly went back to school to earn an Esthetician Degree and began doing make-up for stylists through the Agency. Kelly has been affiliated with Millie Lewis for over 30 years and has done a variety of things with our School and Agency. Kelly is launching a new Fitness Video called “Treadrix” which is "TRIX to make the Treadmill fun!!" It's the perfect work-out for women like who are too busy to get to the gym. Kelly is presently working with the Agency as an instructor, stylist and model. She recently completed a TV Workshop with George to continue growing in the industry. “I recommend our courses for anyone out there who wants to be their BEST and I am very passionate about what we do here at Millie Lewis!”
Tammy Sorrells, Kids' Club/Advanced Kids/Teen Instructor
Tammy lives in Pickens, SC with her husband and their daughter, Cierra. Tammy is a member of Marathon Community Church, and is involved with the Children’s Ministry and works with their preschool department. Tammy was a registered nurse & served on the board for South Carolina for four years.
Annie Guarcello, Teen Instructor
Annie joined the Millie Lewis staff as a Teen Course Instructor in October 2009. She loves helping build confidence and poise in young girls and is passionate about helping her students become their best self.
On the side, she and her husband own and operate a teeth whitening company, Pro-Glo Smiles, in which Millie Lewis will occasionally host events open to students, faculty and the public to brighten their smiles!
And lastly, Annie is also a trained and part-time makeup artist. She loves instructing new makeup techniques to all ages and watching the joy and transformation it brings to her clients!
Elizabeth Rouprich, Teen/Adult Instructor & Image Consultant
Elizabeth Rouprich was born and raised in Greenville and went through Millie Lewis as a teenager. She is the owner of Visually Appealing, LLC, an image consulting business. She is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) and is a certified Image Consultant. She has always had a "passion for fashion" and graduated from Anderson University and USC/ Columbia with degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Retailing. Elizabeth worked for Parisian Department stores for many years in Birmingham, Al. in Visual Merchandising/Special Events and was the Visual Merchandising Manager at Parisian Greenville Mall.
Elizabeth worked for Millie Lewis Model/Talent Agency teaching Personal Development classes to Teens and Adults, Advanced classes and managing the Salon for six years. In 2012, Elizabeth returned as a Teen Instructor. Currently, she is the spokesperson for John Finger Mazda and coordinates fashion shows across the Upstate and Columbia. She works with clients across the Upstate to accomplish their image identity goals; personal shopping, closet editing and more.
In her downtime, she enjoys volunteering with the Junior League of Greenville and arts organizations, gardening, traveling and riding motorcycles with her husband.
Crystal Galloway, Kids' Club Instructor
Crystal was born & raised in Greenville. She began as a student at Millie Lewis after winning Miss Trevilian at Wade Hampton High School. She volunteers her time speaking on behalf of Mother's Against Drunk Driving and she is a committee member with the Alzheimer's Association where she serves in many different ways.
She and her husband have one son. The three of them spend a lot of time together as a family traveling, playing outdoors and attending sporting events.
Crystal feels like Millie Lewis has done great deal for her confidence and has helped her to be the best person she can be. She enjoys helping young girls with their confidence as well. She says that feeling good about who you are will help you in all aspects of your life. She believes that the most important key to success is self-confidence.
Bridgett Powell, Pageant Prep
Bridgett moved to the Greenville area with her husband and two children in 2007. Growing up in California, she began her endeavors all at the age of three. Lifelong experiences include: commercials, film, TV pilots, print ads, runway, competition dance and performance groups.

Lindsay Kaplan, Salon Manager
Lindsay graduated from Clemson University in 2003. Upon graduation, she worked on the Sales Team at The Westin Poinsett. With a background in the service and hospitality industry, she joined the Millie Lewis team in 2006. Lindsay enjoys the daily interaction with clients and provides a unique, satisfying salon experience.
Karen Suchy, Master Stylist
Karen has been in the hair industry over 30 years and has been with some of the top educators in the countries. Some of the education that she has attended has been with educators like Martin Parsons, Arnold, Zegarelli, Nick Arrojo, Rusk, Yosh, Vidal Sassoon, International Color, USAcolor, Redken color Exchange, Vivienne Mackinder, Roy Peters and Oscar Bond. She visits New York one or two times a year to bring back the latest trends for her clients. While in NYC she attends classes for long hair, bridal as well as the latest in Prom trends.
In her earlier years she traveled to the New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania as an instructor for skin care, facials, makeup, and permanent eye lashes. Karen worked at Saks Fifth Ave, Elizabeth Arden, and with Adrien Arpel makeup. She has been at the Millie Lewis Salon for over 15 years! “I believe my years in the business along with the education has given me the artistic ability to create hairstyles for clients that are easy to maintain and unique.”
Tonya Duncan, Master Stylist
Tonya moved to Greenville a few years ago from Albany, New York where she was a successful salon owner for ten years. Tonya attended Advanced Hair Cutting & Color at Toni & Guy Academy in Texas. She is a Certified Master Color Specialist and has over twenty years experience as a stylist.
Tonya joined The Salon at Millie Lewis a couple of years ago and is also our manicurist. She is involved with teaching Hair Care classes to our teen & adult students. She and her husband live in Boiling Springs with their two kids and three dogs.
Maria Buchan, Makeup Artist/Esthetician
With over 20 years of experience, renowned commercial makeup artist & stylist, Maria Buchana, brings an artistic flare, professionalism, and a unique sense of style to every makeup application whether it is for commercial print, film, television, weddings or just to enhance your own natural beauty. From your first consultation to your final touch-up, Maria can create the perfect look for your special occasion. Maria uses quality products and techniques which guarantee that your makeup will last through all of the happy tears, hugs, kisses & photographs.
Maria is certified with Mac, Aveda, Murad and is a master at creating a natural, radiant look for her clients. She has also trained with plastic surgeons specializing in camouflage and corrective makeup. She teaches makeup techniques to actors, models and anyone wanting to learn how to apply makeup for their own individual look. Maria has worked with some of the most recognizable names in the business to includes the Today Show, Good Morning America, Tom Brokaw and NFL Films. Maria is available for any location.
